Beginner Classes
At 504 Athletics, we’ve designed our tumbling program to support athletes at every stage of their journey.
Our Recreational Tumbling Program is open to athletes ages 5 to 19 and focuses on building strong fundamentals, confidence, and skill progression in a positive environment. With 3 different classes offered each week across 5 different skill levels, we make sure every athlete is placed in the class that best fits their ability—so they can grow safely and successfully.
Each class is 60 minutes long and is $79.99 per month.
All programs at 504 Athletics require a $99 annual registration and program fee, which is billed once every 12 months.

Level 1 Classes
Saturdays 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Saturdays 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
✨ Level 1 Tumbling Program
Class Length: 60 Minutes
Ages: 6–19 Years Old
At 504 Athletics, our Level 1 Tumbling Program is designed to develop technically strong, confident athletes prepared for competitive All Star cheerleading. This level builds the foundation for higher-level tumbling while emphasizing precision, control, and consistency.
Level 1 athletes train and master core skills such as:
- Back Walkovers
- Front Walkovers
- Cartwheels
- Round Offs
- Valdez
Each class is structured to progress athletes through Level 1 skill combinations while preparing them for Level 2 and beyond.
➡️ All Level 1 athletes must be evaluated and approved by an instructor prior to enrollment.

💜 Intro to Level 1
This class is designed for athletes entering Level 1 training.
Athletes in this level:
- Have a standing backbend
- Are learning a standing back walkover for the first time
- Or have a back walkover but require spotting to refine technique
The focus is on building confidence, strength, and proper execution of the back walkover.
💪 Advanced Level 1
Athletes who demonstrate strong technique and consistency in their back walkover will be advanced to this level.
Training includes:
- Connecting two back walkovers
- Front walkovers
- Valdez
- Switch-leg back walkovers
Athletes begin developing fluidity, power, and control through skill connections.
👑 Elite Level 1
This is a competition-focused training level designed for athletes preparing for All Star performance.
Athletes will:
- Combine all Level 1 skills into full tumbling passes
- Perform skills independently
- Refine technique to meet competition standards
➡️ Elite Level 1 is required for all Level 1 All Star athletes.
(Recreational athletes may bypass this level based on evaluation.)
⬆️ Advancement to Level 2
Athletes who demonstrate consistent execution and flawless technique across all Level 1 skills will be advanced to Level 2 by instructor approval.
At 504 Athletics, Level 1 is not just about learning skills—it’s about mastering the foundation of excellence.
Level 2 Classes
Tuesday 5:15 pm - 6:00am
✨ Level 2 Tumbling Program
Class Length: 45 Minutes
Ages: 6–19 Years Old
At 504 Athletics, our Level 2 Tumbling Program introduces athletes to power-based backward tumbling, with a strong emphasis on technique, control, and execution. This level is where athletes begin developing the strength, confidence, and timing required for advanced skill progression and competitive All Star performance.
Level 2 focuses on mastering and connecting skills such as:
- Back Walkover Back Handsprings
- Back Handspring Step-Outs
- Valdez Back Handsprings
- Round-Off Back Handspring Series
- Flysprings
Athletes are trained to link skills with precision, proper body alignment, and fluid transitions—building a strong foundation for Level 3 and beyond.

💜 Intro to Level 2
This class is designed for athletes entering Level 2 and beginning their back handspring journey.
Athletes in this level:
- Are learning a standing back handspring and/or back walkover back handspring
- Or have a back handspring but require spotting to improve technique and consistency
The focus is on developing strength, confidence, and correct technique in foundational Level 2 skills.
💪 Advanced Level 2
Athletes who demonstrate strong technique and consistency in their back handsprings will be advanced to this level.
Training includes:
- Round-off back handspring connections
- Flysprings
- Valdez back handsprings
- Back handspring step-outs
- Series back handsprings
Athletes begin to build power, endurance, and seamless skill connections required for higher-level tumbling.
👑 Elite Level 2
This is a competition-focused training level for athletes preparing for All Star routines.
Athletes will:
- Combine all Level 2 skills into full tumbling passes
- Perform skills independently with confidence
- Refine execution to meet elite competition standards

(Recreational athletes may bypass this level based on evaluation.)
⬆️ Advancement to Level 3
Athletes who demonstrate consistent execution, control, and elite-level technique across all Level 2 skills will be advanced to Level 3 by instructor approval.
At 504 Athletics, Level 2 is where power meets precision—and athletes begin to separate themselves.

Class Length: 45 Minutes
Ages: 8–19 Years Old
At 504 Athletics, Level 3 is where athletes separate themselves—transitioning into high-impact tumbling that demands power, timing, and elite execution. This level introduces flipping elements and complex combinations that require confidence, control, and precision under pressure.
Level 3 athletes train and refine skills including:
- Round-Off Back Handspring Tucks
- Standing Back Handspring Series
- Jump to Back Handsprings
- Side Aerials
- Punch Fronts
- Advanced combination passes
Each class is designed to build explosive power, clean technique, and seamless connections, preparing athletes for Level 4 and beyond.

💜 Intro to Level 3
This level is for athletes beginning their transition into flipping skills.
Athletes in this class:
- Are learning a back tuck for the first time
- Or have a round-off back handspring tuck but need spotting to improve technique and consistency
The focus is on proper set, rotation, and control, building the confidence required for advanced tumbling.
💪 Advanced Level 3
Athletes with consistent, technically sound back tucks will be advanced to this level.
Training includes:
- Connected combination passes (front walkover → round-off → back handspring)
- Flyspring to round-off back handspring
- Punch fronts
- Side aerials
- Increased endurance through skill connections
Athletes are pushed to develop power, stamina, and fluid transitions between skills.
👑 Elite Level 3
This is a competition-driven training level for athletes preparing to perform at a high level.
Athletes will:
- Execute full Level 3 tumbling passes independently
- Maintain control, height, and consistency
- Refine technique to meet elite scoring standards

At 504 Athletics, our Level 4 Tumbling Program is designed for advanced athletes ready to perform high-level acrobatic skills with power, speed, and elite execution. This level demands strength, discipline, and precision as athletes transition into continuous, competition-ready tumbling.
Athletes train and master complex skills such as:
- Round-Off Back Handspring Layouts
- Standing Tucks
- Standing Back Handspring to Back Handspring Tucks
- Front Aerials
- Punch Front Step-Outs
- Advanced elite tumbling combinations
The focus is on maximizing height, control, and consistency while linking skills seamlessly to meet the expectations of elite scoring divisions in All Star cheerleading.
👑 Elite Performance Focus
At this level, athletes are expected to:
- Execute skills with power, speed, and precision
- Perform connected passes with fluidity and confidence
- Maintain elite technique under pressure
- Train at a level consistent with high-scoring competitive routines
⬆️ Advancement to Level 5
Athletes who demonstrate mastery of Level 4 skills will be personally guided by our tumbling staff into the next phase of training.
This includes:
- Twisting skills
- Advanced Level 5 combinations
- Individualized progression based on athlete readiness
At 504 Athletics, Level 4 is where elite athletes are defined—power, performance, and precision at the highest level.
✨ Level 4 Tumbling
Class Length:
55 Minutes
Ages: 6–19 Years Old
The Level 4 Tumbling Program at 504 Athletics is built for athletes performing at an advanced level who are ready to train with maximum power, speed, and elite execution. This level emphasizes high-level skill difficulty, endurance, and the ability to perform continuous tumbling passes under competitive pressure.
Athletes will train and refine skills including:
- Round-Off Back Handspring Layouts
- Standing Tucks
- Standing Back Handspring to Back Handspring Tucks
- Front Aerials
- Punch Front Step-Outs
- Elite combination passes
Training is centered on explosiveness, control, and consistency, ensuring athletes can perform at the level required for top placements in All Star competition.
💪 Advanced Skill Development
At Level 4, athletes are expected to:
- Generate maximum height and power in all skills
- Maintain tight, controlled body positions
- Execute clean, connected passes without breaks
- Perform with confidence and competitive readiness
⬆️ Progression Beyond Level 4
Athletes who successfully master Level 4 will transition into individualized training with our tumbling staff.
This next phase includes:
- Twisting skills
- Level 5 tumbling combinations
- Personalized skill progression based on performance readiness
